On June 14th the new search engine for the Canary Islands was launched. The people running this new Website aim to organize the multitude of Webpages already available in the Canaries.

The addresses are clearly arranged within categories, so the users can quickly find everything ranging from hotels or museums to hospitals or doctors. By specialising in the seven islands the search results will mostly have related pages.

Everybody who runs an interesting web page related to the Canaries can be listed for free within Canarias24. To do so, applicants just need to fill out a short form online and some time later the address will be listed in the corresponding category.

"Canarias24 will not remain as only a web directory" says the manager Alexander zur Linden. "We are preparing many additional free services such as greeting cards, a bulletin board for classified ads and chat rooms."
